Christopher Ames, MRICS, has operated in Belgravia as an estate agent and Chartered Valuation Surveyor since 1979. His expertise includes sales and acquisitions on behalf of clients, development appraisal/viability analysis advice, lease extensions and enfranchisements, rent reviews, probate valuations and acting as an expert witness in court proceedings.
Over thirty years’ knowledge of the Belgravia market (and surrounding areas) enables Ames to offer valuable property advice to his clients, many of whom are of twenty or more years’ standing. There are very few mansions, apartments or mews houses that Ames has not appraised during his career; some of which he has sold four times or more.
Christopher is passionate about property. His London experience includes not only Belgravia but Kensington, Knightsbridge, Chelsea, Mayfair and Westminster.
Independence and discretion are paramount.
Christopher is supported by his wife Caroline. She had a successful career in racing administration before establishing Ames Belgravia with Christopher in 2009. She speaks French and Italian and is a keen amateur photographer which is reflected in our Instagram account @amesbelgravia.
